SHIFT Aotearoa Conference & CHA Engagement Series

The 2021 conference and engagement series will occur over five months, through three stages: The SHIFT Aotearoa online conference, an in-person Regional Event Series and an in-person national symposium.

Part 1: Making the SHIFT: The SHIFT Aotearoa – Online Conference Tuesday 15 June & Thursday 17 June
Introduced with a refresh compilation drawn from the 2019 Shift Aotearoa conference, the online conference will feature online-only keynote speakers, interviews, an interactive workshop, and other opportunities to contribute: focusing on progress in the implementation of the right to a decent home (15 June), and setting the scene for changing how we talk about housing (17 June). These discussions will set the stage for the Regional Events Series to follow and for the Connecting the Big Issues symposium summarised under the programme tab. All online content will be available for viewing across the conference period through to October.

Part 2: Regional Event Series & Masterclass Series– June - September
Locally hosted events engaging and insightful, fostering the korero that matters to you and your region or city, and surfacing research evidence, approaches and policies you see that would work.

Part 3: National Symposium Connecting the Big Issues – October (dates TBC)
A sponsor-hosted, in-person event, weaving together the threads and connecting the big issues. These will build on the themes captured from the regional event series and facilitate towards future action.
